Psychosocial Safety Essentials

Would you value a review of the legislation and essential facts on managing psychosocial hazards at work?

Jim Kelly, SafeWork NSW Regulator and Director Health and Safe Design, will unpack some of the key priorities on designing and cultivating workplace psychosocial safety.

Jim has an insightful, practical and evidence-based understanding of the Code of Practice and how to implement improvements that are valid and measurable. In his leadership role at Safe Work NSW Jim has prioritised putting useful, safety tools into leaders’ hands to help them comply with the Code. This session will cover the rationale and drivers behind the legislation, and helpful information on the Code and how to understand hazards and risks.

Jim takes a balanced approach to psychosocial safety that considers total business case and needs, integrates psychological safety imperatives, and keeps people at the centre. The session will leave participants with some useful and implementable tips and actions.
