Kash is a co-director at YES Psychology & Consulting - a boutique firm of psychologists, specialising in the areas of employee wellbeing and leadership effectiveness.
Kash is an exemplar of the professional approach at YES Psychology. He supports leaders and employees across a diversity of contexts - from resilience and wellbeing programs to risk-management and recovery. He is passionate about helping organisations, teams and individuals to become more effective through evidence-based, practical solutions. He brings empathy, energy and enthusiasm into his consulting.
With over 25 years in the field, Kash has and his team have delivered tailored services to numerous public and private sector organisations, across white-collar and blue-collar industries. This has involved supporting organisations through proactive development initiatives and responses to critical incidents, difficult circumstances and tricky situations. Customers rely on Kash and his team to really listen to what they need, cut through the noise and provide practical strategies, tools and resources - in order to build organisational and leadership capability and confidence.
Kash has collaborated with organisations to design tailored interventions for Mentally Healthy Workplaces and Psychosocial Risk Controls, including: Organisational mental health strategies; wellbeing and psychosocial risk surveys; policy and protocol reviews; mental health leadership training; resilience skills training; mental health awareness and self-care; comprehensive peer support programs; managing difficult behaviours; critical incident preparedness; crucial conversations training; team wellbeing and culture check-in programs; team and leadership development; and executive wellbeing coaching. These programs have enjoyed consistently positive feedback on their engagement and practical outcomes.
Kash holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and a double major in Training Development & Change Facilitation. He is a Master Practitioner of Applied Mindfulness and is trained as an internal auditor with compliance to RABQSA-AU; and Workplace Health & Safety Officer (WHSO) Stage 1 - Griffith University, 1992.
Kash previously held the office of President of the Employee Assistance Professional Association of Australasia (EAPAA) and has regularly contributed to communities of practice in the area of "mental health in the workplace" and related conference speaking engagements.
